Jane L. Kleinik Norris, 50, Taylor Springs

Jane L. Kleinik Norris, 50, of Taylor Springs, died at 3:55 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with the Rev. Harry Kirk officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held two hours before services on Tuesday at the church. Memorials: Help at Home in Springfield.

Mrs. Norris was born on Feb. 2, 1957, at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, the daughter of Donald Dean Buck and Jeannettie Mae Jean Fogle Kleinik. She married Leo J. Norris Jr. on May 31, 2004, in Fillmore; he died on Nov. 21, 2006.

She lived most of her life in Taylor Springs. She was a supervisor for Help at Home in Springfield for about five years, and had also worked for Addus of Carlinville and Community Care of Springfield. She enjoyed the outdoors boating, camping and fishing and was a lover of animals. She also enjoyed shopping.

She is survived by her parents; a daughter, Gena Allen of Taylor Springs; stepdaughter, Tammy and her husband Clay Schaffer of Peoria; stepson, Jeff and his wife Esko Norris of Japan; grandchildren, Trishia, Tyler and Tristine Hampton; five stepgrandchildren; brothers, Cliff Kleinik and friend Kathy of Farina, Don Kleinik of Vandalia, Mikey Jo Kleinik of Centralia, and John Hammer Kleinik of Pittsfield; and sisters, June and her husband Steve Ruscher of Kell, and Mary and her husband Randy Colvin of Vandalia.
