Carlos Delarosa Udani, 97, of Ramsey, died at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at his residence.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Udani was born on March 17, 1910, in Dugo, Phillipine Islands, the son of Evaristo and Petronela DelaRosa Udani. He married Rowena Virden on Nov. 27, 1947, in Chicago.
He was a chef at the Decatur Club in Decatur. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, from 1942-46, with the 978 Signal Co. and received a Bronze Star.
He is survived by his wife; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
