SAFE’s ‘Homes for the Holidays’ is this weekend

S.A.F.E.’s annual ‘Homes for the Holidays” Christmas tours will take place this Saturday and Sunday, from 1-5 p.m. each day, with tours of six buildings available.

Included in the tours is a variety of unique homes. Throughout these homes are numerous antique family pieces, various unique collections, one of-a kind art, paint treatments and a variety of Christmas decorations.

Stops on this year’s tour are:

• The home of Roy and LaVonda Nichols.

• Lawinger Law Office.

• The home of Brad and Darlene Williams.

• The home of Brian and Beth Kern.

• Immanuel Lutheran Church in Augsburg.

• The home of Mark and Lisette Ehrat.

Refreshments of hot wassail and homemade goodies will be served, and local talent will provide seasonal music during the tour.

Tickets are $7 in advance or $8 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at: First Bank, First National Bank, National Bank, Peoples Bank and the Vandalia Chamber of Commerce office.

S.A.F.E. is a non-profit sexual assault agency, which provides crisis counseling, medical/legal advocacy and educational prevention programs in seven counties. S.A.F.E. also provides an Adult Survivors of Incest Group Counseling service. All cervices are provided free of charge.
