CENTRALIA — The first set went their way. But the next two did not.
South Central saw the volleyball season come to an end Thursday, as No. 1 seed Woodlawn defeated the second-seeded Lady Cougars, 23-25, 25-15, 25-17, at the Class 1A Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran Regional.
South Central went 19-15 for Head Coach Sherry Hargis.
South Central rallied late to pull out a close first set, scoring the final two points after the set was tied, 23-23. Alexis Harpster had a key ace late in the set.
