    Vandalia – Aces-Hall 1, Younker 2; kills-Younker 1, C. Wilkerson 4, Miller 2, Kern 2, Jackson 3; blocks-Tarkington 1, Kern 3, Jackson 1; digs-McNary 6, Younker 4, C. Wilkerson 3, Stewart 3, Austin 1, Miller 2.
    The JV Lady Vandals won in three games, 26-24, 17-25, 25-19, and the freshmen split, 11-25, 25-18.

    St. Elmo/Brownstown defeated Neoga in two games, 26-24, 25-11, last Thursday.

  • Lady Vandals host Volley for the...

    The Vandalia Community High School volleyball teams host Greenville this Thursday evening for the annual Volley for the Cure event featuring the two teams.
    The proceeds from the event will go to the Fayette County Cancer Fund, which helps local cancer patients by providing gas cards, meal vouchers and other incidentals not covered by insurance.
    The evening gets under way at 5 p.m. with the freshman contest, the start of a silent auction and the sale of event T-shirts and cupcakes (available in limited quantities).
