Vandalia native Josie Earnest appeared on national TV on Tuesday, after making the finals of the United States Bowling Congress Queens Tournament.
Earnest, a No. 16 seed in the Texas-based tournament, was matched against (4) Liz Johnson, an 11-time Women's Professional Bowling Association winner, in the first-round of the TV finals on Tuesday.
In that match, Earnest, who was making her first appearance in the Queens Tournament, lost despite rolling a 223. Johnson had a 268, the second highest game of the night.
