As he scored 18 points in Patoka’s 58-45 win over Dieterich last Friday, the Warriors’ Jered Cain moved into 15th place on Illinois’ all-time career scoring list.
Cain’s total of 2,717 career points moved him ahead of Dike Eddleman of Centralia.
At that time, he was 26 points behind No. 14 on the list, Paul Lusk of Trenton Wesclin (2,743).
In the win over Dieterich, Patoka led 15-9 after one quarter, but Dieterich knotted the score at 23 by halftime.
