The Vandalia boys track team set three school records on the way to a narrow second-place finish in a five-team meet at Greenville last Thursday.
The Vandals scored 94 1/2 points, only three points behind Breese Mater Dei, which won the meet with 97 1/2. Greenville finished third with 85 points, followed by Metro East Lutheran with 73 and Christ Our Rock Lutheran with one point.
Drew Bell broke his own 3200-meter record, running a 10:01 – cutting eight seconds off his previous record of 10:09.92.
