• Mark D. Veach, 39, Keavy, Ky., was arrested on June 28 on a warrant for a charge of theft of $300 and less. Bond was $1,000.
• Taleb R. Jawher, 33, St. Louis, Mo., was arrested on June 27 on charges of driving 109 mph and driving while his license is suspended. Bond was $2,000.
• Mark A. Shirley, 48, Bolivar, Tenn., was arrested on June 26 on charges of speeding and driving while his license is suspended or revoked. Bond was $1,500.

• Anthony M. Hays, 19, 710 W. Main St., Ramsey, was arrested on June 21 on charges of reckless discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful discharge of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal consumption of alcohol. No bond amount was listed.
• Tammy R. Lewis, 40, 526 S. Seventh St., Vandalia, was arrested on June 20 for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Bond was $3,000.

• Ashley A. Rice, 21, 320 N. Superior St., Ramsey, was arrested on June 14 on a traffic warrant and on a charge of obstructing justice. Bond was $1,000.
• Roosevelt Shorter, 36, Chicago, was arrested on June 14 on a Cook County warrant. He was held for Cook County authorities.
• Steven D. Cox, 43, 422 S. Sixth St., Vandalia, turned himself in on June 13 on a Shelby County traffic warrant. Bond was $3,000.
