    • Stoney W. Lewis, 21, 507 W. Orchard St., Vandalia, was arrested on April 6 for failure to appear in Effingham County court on a charge of retail theft. Bond was $3,000.

    • Charles W. Forbes, 34, 318 S. Sixth St., Vandalia, was arrested on April 1 for failure to appear in Marion County court on a felony charge. Bond was $2,000.
    • Timothy M. Shellenbarger, 24, 1410 W. St. Louis Ave., Vandalia, was arrested on April 1 on a charge of battery and on a Shelby County felony warrant. The Fayette County charge was dropped, and he was transferred to Shelby County.
    • Brittany S. Hicks, 21, 1032 W. Johnson St., Vandalia, was arrested on March 31 on a charge of retail theft. Bond was $1,000.
