Sew Liberty recently hosted a "sew-in," making pillowcases for kids with cancer. Using colorful fabric donated to the cause, volunteers made 22 pillowcases.
Four women participated in the event, including the owner of Sew Liberty, Jennifer Flowers, and her mother, Kim Pope, from Colorado Springs. Also participating were Viola Blankenship and Nancy Shipman. The pillowcases will be given to hospitals for children who are fighting cancer.
