  • Kleiboeker/Stoffel-Gray Scholars

    Kaskaskia College announced that Tracie Dickenson of Vandalia and Emily Cange of Marydale have been named the recipients of the Nicholas Kleiboeker-Torrey Stoffel-Gray Memorial Scholarship. Cange attended Belleville West Township High School and is studying nursing.  She is the daughter of Keith Cange and Lorraine Cange. Dickenson is a 1989 graduate of Sandia High School and the daughter of Charlein Steele. Pictured above, from left to right, are Cange; Deborah Klieboeker, director of institutional advancement for Kaskaskia College; and Dickinson.

  • Digital photography class at KC Vandalia Campus

    The Kaskaskia College Community Education Office will offer an intermediate digital photography class at the KC Vandalia Campus.
    The class will be held on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 6-7, from 6-8 p.m. The registration number for the class is COED 5428 VA03E.
    Students will get to know their digital cameras a little better as they learn to take superior images and learn techniques to improve action, portrait, scenic, travel, outdoor and wildlife portraits.

  • Red Ribbon Week at BES

    Shown here are the students in grades kindergarten-third at Brownstown Elementary School who participated in Red Ribbon Week activities. The school totaled 5,786 gym laps and 3,185 track laps; together, that totaled 796 miles.
