    ROE offices closed Nov. 29

    The Regional Office of Education offices in Bond, Fayette and Effingham counties will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 29, for certification/licensure training.
    The offices will re-open at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30.

    Food sanitation refresher
    Kaskaskia College will offer a food service sanitation refresher class at the Vandalia Campus on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

  • Fall, summer nursing classes taken at KC

    Two sections of certified nursing assistant students took the eight-week classes of the program this past summer and fall at the Kaskaskia College Vandalia Center.

  • Family Reading Night at VES

    Vandalia Elementary School observed national Family Reading Night on Thursday by inviting parents to the school.

The evening also included a book fair (third photo) and a visit by Linda Kelly and participants in the P.A.C.K. (Pups Assisting Children with Kindness) program at Evans Public Library in Vandalia.
