    Organic farming and gardening class
    The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will offer an organic farming and gardening class at the Vandalia Campus from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
    The registration number for the class is COED-5101-VA01E.
    In this class, students will learn what it takes to grow crops, vegetables and flowers without chemicals today, as well as gain a better understanding of the processes it takes to grow nutritious foods the new “old-fashioned way.”

  • FFA First at Land Use Competition

    The Vandalia FFA competed at the Fayette County Land Use CDE on Tuesday, Sept. 26  The team finished in first place overall and will now compete at the Section level. Team members included Amber Halstead, Nicholas Wollerman, Dalton Whitten, Anna DePaolo, Cassidy Anderson, Ali Willenborg, Kyle Miller, Elizabeth Cable, Gaige Beall, Keith Green, Steven Lach, and Brendan Boley.

    Kaskaskia College is inviting resident of Vandalia and the surrounding areas to attend a Community Engagement Forum at the Vandalia Campus at 3:30 p.m. this Thursday at the KC Campus on West Fillmore Street.
    The meeting is provided to share information with the public, as well as seek public input.  
    Speaking on the current state of the college and new developments at the college will be: Mary Schulze, director of the Vandalia Campus; Dr. Penny Quinn, KC president; trustees of the board and other members of the college administrative team.
