Cougars break four-game losing skid with win vs. Vandalia

KINMUNDY – South Central kept up the offensive pace against a feisty Vandalia team on Monday, snapping a four-game losing streak with a 9-6 victory.

Sophomore Gavin Ratermann opened the bottom of the first inning by driving a 1-1 pitch over the left-field wall, and the Cougars tacked on eight runs from the third to fifth inning to overcome Vandalia’s 10-hit performance, its best since April 12.
