    Death
    Mary Lillian “Lillie” Reed, 74, formerly of St. Peter, died on Sunday. Graveside services were held on Thursday, with burial in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.

    Attendance on Saturday evening was 98. Attendance on Sunday was 90.
    The organist was Rev. Alan Holtz. Luke Bergmann served as acolyte.
    Elders were Reggie Grandt and Jay Rothe.

    Brownstown First Christian Church will launch a 10-week teaching series on "The Patriarchs: Encountering the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob."
    Developed by Beth Moore, the study focuses on Genesis 12-50. It will be taught by Faye Watson.
    The series starts at 7 p.m. tonight.
