Camilla Diveley celebrated her 100th birthday on Dec. 13.
A lifetime resident of Vandalia, she was born to Mr. and Mrs. John (Julia) Diveley on a farm in Sefton Township.
She had four sisters: Genevieve, now 98; Vodithe (Reavis, deceased); and twin sisters Beatrice (Davis), now 92, and Bernice (Scraper, deceased).
Camilla grew up on the farm with her sisters, and she attended a one-room school that housed eight grades. She graduated from Vandalia High School, where she was a member of an award-winning debate team.
