  • Update on Mother Robin’s “Squatter’s Rights”
Mother Robin is firmly ensconced on top of the Homestead back porch light, on the porch wall, right next to the door.
We figured she would be moving on, as we come and go through that door, but we noticed her taking flight off the nest only a few times at first.
It concerned us that her eggs many not hatch if she continually left them, but now she seems be used to us and stays on the nest.
