David and Patricia Pence, known as SoftFire, provided the entertainment at Evergreen Outreach on Monday. The Pences have amazing musical talent – singing and playing several instruments – and they do make “a joyful noise unto the Lord” when they entertain. Coming with them were their four border collie dogs.

  • Though diseases change people, they still need us

I have a couple of friends who give me books. They only ask that after I am finished with the copy, I pass it on as a gift to someone else who enjoys reading.

April is officially the lawn and garden month, and many of us are delighted to be outside, enjoying the displays of flowers and trees.
We also enjoy seeing all those who attend EO every Monday afternoon. This week, we met in the Fayette County Hospital LTC dining area.
Arriving early, Pam Childers, our pianist, started the program with a variety of favorite tunes.
Refreshments of cookies, iced tea and coffee were provided by the Evergreen volunteers group.
