I’m Norris Price, a retired minister, and I got angry a few weeks ago. It all began when Sam called and asked if I could meet with him to discuss a major event in his life.

Monday was another fine day for Evergreen Outreach. Our leader was the Rev. Jim Fackler,  and our pianist was Donna Smith, a really good combination for having fun, laughter and music. That’s the way it was at the Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care activities room.
We shared refreshments as everyone wondered if I could actually get the microphone to work! Since Donna knows most everything by heart, she played and we sang our opening songs.

VBS is June 11-13 at Overcup Baptist

Overcup Baptist Church will be holding Vacation Bible School from Wednesday, June 11, through Friday, June 13, from 6-8:30 p.m.
The program includes children from age 4 to 13.

Bethel Baptist VBS is set for June 9-13

A Vacation Bible School program titled "Discover, Decide, Defend" will be held Monday through Friday, June 9-13, at Bethel Baptist Church from 6-8:30 p.m. nightly.

We had a good meeting Monday, with FAYCO and Vandalia Rehabilitation attending. We missed our Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care friends.
And on a more serious note, we REALLY missed Judy and Bob Varga, and Katy (in hospital) and Randy Schukar, plus we missed Jeannie Schlicht, who is with Wolf in the hospital in Springfield. As we shared our refreshments, we tried to catch up with  everyone’s happenings. Phyllis Rames put it this way  – trying to get everything back to normal! Lord, we are trying!
