Milestones

Mr. and Mrs. William Fender of Vandalia will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on Monday.

The Fenders were married on Feb. 27, 1982, at First Baptist Church in St. Elmo.
They are the parents of 7-year-old quadruplets: Haley, Kaley, Jessica and William.

Boone C. Baker
Air Force Airman Boone C. Baker graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Julia Marie Mizeur
Lindsy and Phillip Mizeur Jr. of Vandalia are the parents of a girl born at 1:47 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2012, at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Katie Schumacher and Mitchel Casey, both of Rancho Cucmonga, Calif., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. on Nov. 26, 2011, at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Sigel, with the Rev. Bud DeGrand officiating.
