    Hannah Ryann weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
    Grandparents are Karen Brooks, and Rick and Margie Bachula of Saginaw, Mich., and Steve and Sandy Stombaugh of Vandalia.

    Mr. and Mrs. Floyd C. Meseke of Vandalia celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Gallatin Street Grille on March 30.

    Beulah Brown
    A bright and cheerful 90th birthday celebration for Beulah Brown was held at the home of Phyllis Rames.
    More than 20 women came to wish Beulah happy birthday and many more.
    Those present reminisced about her many years in Brownstown and Vandalia, and there were a few stories about her growing up just west of Effingham. She shared stories about her hundreds of students and travels.
