Jessica Hope Smith and Andrew B. Runge, both of Sheridan, Wyo., have announced their engagement.

Ronnie and Mary Howard will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15.
A special, early celebration was held at the Wisconsin Dells.

Ronnie and Mary were married on June 15, 1963, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Elmo.
They are the parents of two sons: Matthew and his wife Rhonda, and Jeffery and his wife Chris.
They have six grandchildren: Brady, Madison, Maisie, Courtney, Brandi, and Jacqulyn and her husband Jordan Grace.

Mary A.E. (Flack) Crawford of Vandalia, formerly of Effingham, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Friday, June 7.

She would appreciate hearing from family members and friends.
