    Dane and Belinda Harpster of St. Peter attended the sixth birthday celebration of their granddaughter, Madison Eller of Jackson, Mo., on Saturday.

    Spring Is Just Around The Corner…
    …time to get out the seed catalogues (which always makes me think of the late Charlie and Gladys Fisher, and plan this summer’s garden.

  • ExxonMobil Annuitants

    The ExxonMobil Annuitants Club met on Jan. 27 at noon for their meeting and luncheon at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vandalia.
    There were two guests and 20 members present for the meeting. Guests present were Jane Hammond and Sandy Dawes. The pledge to the flag was given,  followed by the meal prayer by Vera Miller.
    After the meal, the meeting was opened with a welcome. The secretary/treasurer reports for November were read and approved. Birthdays and anniversaries for December and January were read.
