Visiting Aunt
On Wednesday of last week, Belinda Harpster and Helen Limes of St. Peter traveled to New Paris, Ohio, to pick up Belinda’s cousin, Diana Rowland. She will be spending a couple of weeks with Helen.

“Basket of Memories” was the theme of the St. Elmo Alumni Banquet held the evening of May 28 in the high school gym, with more than 200 alumni and guests attending. More than 160 had made reservations. The alumni came from 16 states, 43 towns and cities in Illinois and 33 from St. Elmo.
A retired agriculture teacher, Richard Lowe of St. Elmo, attended. Following are the alumni, and if a state isn’t listed, the town is in Illinois.
1934-Jennie Alice Logue Harner of St. Elmo.
1938-Gilbert Wright and Millard Mills, both of St. Elmo.

On May 26, the ExxonMobil Annuitants Club met for its monthly meeting and luncheon at Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vandalia, with 23 members and four guests present.
After the pledge to the flag, a moment of silence was held for Karl Jesgarz, a member of the club who died May 22.
Brock Fisher gave the meal blessing.
After the meal, President Dean Black opened the meeting by welcoming everyone and introducing the special guest, John Nestleroad, a supervisor at the Patoka ExxonMobil Tank Farm.

Visit Grandparents
Madison and Dru Eller of Jackson, Mo., spent Friday through Monday with their grandparents, Dane and Belinda Harpster of St. Peter.
