Wesclin won its record eighth Vandalia Holiday Tournament, defeating Flora in overtime, 57-51, on Thursday night. Flora's Paul Knapp committed a turnover with about a second left in regulation, which forced the extra period.
Vandalia fell to Pana in overtime, 77-65, in the third-place game. Pana's Mitchell Beyers hit a 3-pointer with about half a second left in regulation to force the extra period.
In the fifth-place game, Stew-Stras upset Altamont in overtime, 68-62. Matt Tabbert had 20 points and 20 rebounds for the Comets.
Greenville won the seventh-place game, 58-44, against Shlebyville, and South Central defeated St. Elmo, 41-36, in the ninth-place game.
Flora's Nick Painter was named tournament most valuable player, and Vandalia's Marty Johnson and Leyton Godoyo were members of the all-tournament team.
