Wedding

Jennifer Lovett of Brownstown and Troy Martinz of Cerro Gordo were united in marriage in a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. on April 6, 2013, at Liberty Christian Church in rural Brownstown, with Rondell Ramsey of Lincoln officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Don and Robin Lovett of Brownstown.
She wore a white strapless tafetta gown with a pickup swirl skirt and empire waist with beaded appliqué detailing and a sweep train. She wore a fingertip veil with beading to match the dress.
Her bouquet included orange roses, white roses, white hydrangeas and purple filler.
She chose her cousin, Carly Lovett of Edwardsville, as her maid of honor. She wore a short, strapless sateen dress with ruching and pockets in eggplant purple, and silver shoes.
Bridesmaids were: Samantha Lovett of Lexington, Ky., sister-in-law of the bride; Amanda Stidham of Lincoln, friend of the bride; Kelly Martina of Cerro Gordo, sister-in-law of the groom; and Kelsey Horn of Peoria, friend of the bride. They wore short, cotton sateen dresses in eggplant color, and silver shoes.
The groom is the son of Joe and Tina Martina of Cerro Gordo.
He chose his brother, Luke Martina, as his best man. Groomsmen were: Nick Walters of Lincoln, Cory Atchason of Cerro Gordo and Reece Johnson of Peoria, all friends of the groom; and Aaron Lovett, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Andrew Arseneau and Ben Sims, both of Cerro Gordo and both friends of the groom.
Reese Lovett of Lexington, Ky., niece of the bride, was the flower girl, and Brody Miller of Vandalia, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
Pianists were Debby Sefton and Davis Redman, friends of the bride, and guestbook attendants were Laura Lakin, friend of the bride, and Hannah Rea, friend of the couple.
A reception was held at Cunetto’s Restaurant in Greenville.
The couple’s four-tier cake with a fountain in the bride’s colors of eggplant purple and orange was made by the bride’s grandmother, Sandra Lovett.
The couple honeymooned at Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
They reside at 1501 Gardner Lane, Apt. 1412, Peoria Heights.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lincoln Christian University in 2011, and she is employed as a receptionist for Peoria Chiefs Baseball in Peoria.
The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry from Lincoln Christian University in 2012, and he is employed as a manager at Macy’s in Peoria.
