MULBERRY GROVE - Patoka and Odin battled for an intense 32 minutes, but the Warriors made the last scoring run to take a 68-61 victory on Friday night to win their first regional championship since 1989.

The teams traded runs for most of the game, with Odin finally taking a lead in the fourth quarter, but Patoka used a 9-0 right after to reclaim its lead and take the win at the Class 1A Mulberry Grove Regional, earning a spot in the Red Hill Sectional against Dieterich. That game is next Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Bridgeport.
