Vandalia Mutual Field will be the host for the Egyptian-Illini Conference baseball tournament, which will start next week.

Patoka earned the regular-season championship and will be the No. 1 seed, and Brownstown/St. Elmo will be No. 2.
Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick is the No. 3 seed, and Ramsey and Mulberry Grove round out the field.

The tournament is slated to begin on Monday afternoon, with No. 4 Ramsey and No. 5 Mulberry Grove battling at 4:15 p.m.

On Tuesday, Patoka will take on the winner of that game at 4:15 p.m. and be followed by BSE and BCCH at 7 p.m.

Championship day will be on Thursday, with the losers of Tuesday’s games battling for third place at 4:15 p.m., and the winners going for the championship at 7 p.m.

In the event of rain, Wednesday and Friday will be used as makeup dates.
