Von Behren inducted to Hall of Fame

Vandalia native Seth Von Behren was inducted to the Waterloo Bucks Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Von Behren played for the Bucks, an Iowa collegiate summer team in the Northwoods League, in 1998 and 1999.

“This is probably a top one or two places in the country that you could send a kid to play summer baseball, and it’s because of the fans and the atmosphere,” Von Behren said in his induction speech. “I appreciate everything you did for me and my family.”
