I ran an errand early on the Sunday morning before Christmas. The light snow falling created a picturesque scene. I stepped on the sidewalk in front of a home and took one step. The next thing was a blur of coat and me hitting the sidewalk. I think the older I get, the harder I fall. I laid there for a minute, and then began to smile. I hope someone, anyone who saw this got a good laugh. My pride was hurt the worst, and then, a few hours later, other aches and pains began to settle in.
