• Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at Kennedy Boulevard and Veterans Avenue. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Edward A. Opfer, 81, of Shobonier, turned left in front of a vehicle driven by Lauren R. Gill, 72, of Brownstown, striking the side of Gill’s vehicle. Opfer was ticketed for failure to yield turning left.
Dec. 21
• Police received a report at 11:49 a.m. of the theft of an iPod and purse from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Shelley Drive that was unlocked.
