Vandalia out of winner's bracket; South Central eliminated from tourney

SALEM - Vandalia's Jr. Legion team was knocked out of the winner's bracket, and South Central was eliminated from the District Tournament on Saturday.

Vandalia appeared on its way to an upset of top-seeded Teutopolis to get a trip to the district title game, but Post 95, the No. 6 seed, squandered a 7-1 lead and a pair of controversial umpiring calls extended the bottom of the seventh inning long enough for T-Town to come away with an 11-10 win.
