Vandalia eighth-graders end season with loss to Greenville at regionals

The Vandalia Junior High eighth-grade girls basketball team lost in the first round of the regional tournament on Monday, falling to Greenville, 24-11.

Coach Todd Marquardt said he thought his team would have the opportunity to surprise Greenville in the game after it won its final two regular-season games.
