Vandalia District to honor retirees

The Vandalia Board of Education will hold an appreciation dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, at Vandalia Junior High School.
This year’s honorees include: Debra Lewis, district office employee; Rhonda Phillips, Vandalia Junior High School teacher; Sherry Schneider, Vandalia Jefferson Primary teacher; Amy Vieregge, Vandalia Community High School teacher; and Cherie Woods, Vandalia Elementary School and Vandalia Jefferson Primary teacher.
All current and retired faculty and staff are invited to attend.
The cost for the meal, which is being catered by Niemerg’s Steak House, is $10 per person.
