Vandalia celebrates Halloween next week

Vandalia will celebrate Halloween next week:

• The Vandalia Lions Club will hold its annual Halloween Parade at 7 p.m. next Thursday.

• Vandalia's trick-or-treat night is Saturday, from 6-8 p.m.

• Vandalia's Downtown Trick or Treat is next Saturday:

-Story time at Evans Public Library, 10 a.m.

-10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.--Trick-or-treating downtown. Participating merchants will have a ghost hanging outside their stores.

12:30 p.m.-Costume contest at Family Video, with three age groups:0-4; 5-9; and 10-13.
