In five days, Fayette County voters will go to the polls to cast ballots on a number of local, state and federal races.
Polls are open from 6 a.m.-7 p.m. on Tuesday, and grace period and early voting continues at the Fayette County Courthouse through Friday, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. In-person absentee voting continues at the courthouse through 4 p.m. on Monday.
At the top of Tuesday’s general election ballot is the presidential race, which pits incumbent Democrat Barack Obama against Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
