On the weekend that a Vandalia native will find out if she wins an Oscar, local residents may view the performance for which she is nominated.
The National Road Interpretive Center will offer three showings of the movie “Nebraska” this weekend.
June Squibb, daughter of the late Louie and Joybelle Squibb and a 1947 graduate of Vandalia High School, is nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actress in that movie.
The center will show the movie at 7 p.m. on Friday and at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
