Tennis squad opens with win

Vandalia’s tennis squad opened the season on Monday with a 5-4 win over Roxana.
Natasha Opfer, Lauren Wasmuth and Callie George posted singles wins, and the doubles teams of Opfer-Wasmuth and Cassie Goodin-Micah Dugan won in doubles.

No. 1 singles-Opfer over L. Becker, 10-4.
No. 2 singles-Wasmuth over K. Stanley, 10-6.
No. 3 singles-Goodin lost to J. Masinelli, 0-10.
No. 4 singles-Dugan lost to J. Pratt, 3-10.
No. 5 singles-George over L. Cox, 10-7.
No. 6 singles-Abby Hickerson lost to S. Kamp, 1-10.
