The sanctuary pews at Temple Baptist Church were filled as the Fourgiven Quartet delivered a 90-minute musical program recently.
The quartet did not disappoint its followers and new acquaintances, as they brought moments of both laughter and reverence.
The quartet, which was formed by the late Lawrence Brown several years ago, consists of his son, Dewayne Brown, and his son-in-law, Russ Stewart, as well as Bob Culbertson and Don Arndt. There was an emotional time for the audience when Dewayne sang his father’s signature song, “The Lighthouse.” Bruce and Regina Richards managed the sound system.
Following the concert, Temple Baptist and First Baptist churches provided desserts and drinks for all, served on white cloth-covered tables with colorful spring flower centerpieces.
