HILLSBORO - Vandalia was unable to generate any momentum on Friday, as the Wooden Shoes of Teutopolis ran away with the championship of the Hillsboro Regional.
Top-seeded T-Town scored consistently throughout the game, building an early leading and increasing it over the final three quarters of an 85-48 victory.
Vandalia senior Aaron Harter paced the second-seeded Vandals (15-13) with 14 points. He, along with Michael Wells, Chase Woolsey, Wade Cowger and Leyton Godoyo, was playing in the final game of his career.
