Swofford, Leiken advance to state tournaments

Vandalia seniors Blake Swofford and RaeChelle Leiken qualified for the state golf tournaments on Monday.

Swofford shot a 79 at the Carterville Sectional, and Leiken shot an 86 at the Teutpolis Sectional.

The tournaments are both being run on Friday and Saturday, with the boys in Bloomington and the girls in Decatur.
