Streetscape project scaled back again sc

After taking a closer look at proposed streetscape work on side streets in Vandalia’s downtown business district – and the funds available to do that work – city officials have decided to concentrate on one two-block section for now.
The city has received $630,000 in Community Development Assistance Program funds from the state for streetscape improvements in one-block sections north and south of Gallatin Street.
