St. Elmo loses area's first baseball game of spring

After the first scheduled spring baseball games were canceled on Tuesday, St. Elmo kicked off the area season at Shelbyville on Wednesday.

The Eagles were one-hit by the Rams in a 15-1 loss.

Freshman Levi Maxey recorded the hit, and senior Kase Stolte suffered the loss for St. Elmo.

The Eagles play at Christ Our Rock this afternoon.
