St. Elmo Holiday Tournament to feature title game rematch

It will be a rematch in the title game of the St. Elmo Holiday Tournament after Altamont defeated South Central 66-33 in the championship semifinals on Friday night.

St. Elmo already locked in its spot in the title game after beating Beecher City on Thursday.

The Eagles beat the Indians to win last season's tournament, and the top two seeds will begin play at about 8 p.m. Saturday night to settle this year's event.

In the third-place game, which is slated to begin at about 6:30 p.m., South Central will face Beecher City.

In the fifth-place game, which is slated to begin at about 5 p.m., Brownstown will meet Cowden-Herrick, which beat Ramsey, 57-47, on Friday night.

In the seventh-place game, which will begin at 3:30 p.m., Ramsey and Mulberry Grove will battle.
