One day after the Brownstown Board of Education told a large group of that community's residents that an extracurricular cooperative agreement is essentially a work in progress, the St. Elmo School Board approved that agreement.
And in approving the document submitted by a committee made up of representatives from the two communities, the St. Elmo board said it wants the Brownstown board to vote on that document by the end of this month.
