The Lady Vandals were eliminated from the Highland Tournament with a 52-31 loss to O'Fallon on Wednesday. The game was originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday, but was pushed back due to snow.

Morgan Cripe had nine points to lead the team, which falls to 5-15. The next game is on Monday, when Vandalia will host Litchfield.

Mulberry Grove picked up its first win in three tries against Ramsey this season, winning 67-57 on Wednesday night. Damian Latham had 30 points in the Egyptian-Illini Conference victory. Ryan Kelly had 15 for Ramsey.

South Central's girls nearly earned this first win of the season, falling to Webber, 42-38, on Wednesday.

Vandalia's wrestlers will travel to Mascoutah to take on Mascoutah and Roxana on Thursday night at 5 p.m. in a makeup of a triangular originally scheduled forJan. 8. A win against the Shells would earn the Vandals the South Central Conference championship.
