5K run to be part of Grand Levee
The National Road Interpretive Center is holding a 5K run as part of Vandalia’s Grand Levee on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 9 a.m.
Registration on the day of the run is $25 and opens at 8 a.m.
The race begins in Ruemmelin Park, and the top five males and females will each receive an award.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the National Road Interpretive Center, by providing money to help with the maintenance of the center’s exhibits.
