South Central perfect in first NTC season

South Central finished its first season as a member of the National Trail Conference undefeated after shutting out Windsor, 10-0, last Thursday.

The victory gave the Cougars (14-4-1) a 9-0 conference record.

Seniors Dan Diss and Shawn Meyer combined to fire a one-hitter, striking out 10 batters and walking just three.

Dylan Smith and Kyle Bray paced the offense, with Smith going 2-for-2, with two RBI, and Bray going 1-for-3, with a double and two RBI.

The first game of the NTC Tournament on Monday was postponed due to rain, and the tournament continues through Friday.
