Smith hands out volleyball awards

The Vandalia High School volleyball team held its award banquet on Monday. Award winners were, in front, from left: Austyn Krueger, Newcomer of the Year; Ellie Ehrat, Leadership/Spirit Award; Haley Wollerman, Co-MVP, Most Aces, Most Assists and Best Serving Percentage; and Whitney Schaal, Defense Award and Coaches Award. In back are: Taylor Parrish, Co-MVP and Best Hitting Percentage; Sierah Ruffner, Most Improved; Holly Goldsmith, Co-MVP, Most Kills and Most Blocks; Megan Shreve, Coaches Award; and Amy Walton, Coaches Award.
